We were driving a 20 foot uhaul towing a car. There was a sign that said trucks...so we went through there....wasn't the right choice. So that caused us some issues. But once we were inside it all went pretty well. |

Took about 1 hour. No wait to talk to anyone as we used the Nexus line, but non-nexus would have been an hour of waiting in line. Our time was mostly just sitting and waiting as the 2 officers at the counter did not know how to process it and had to get help from a supervisor. They were extremely nice and congratulated us on the immigrant visa. No fingerprint or photo taken. The officer even took a photo of us for me to commemorate the event! |

I waited awhile since I got there at a shift change. Guy who did my processing was really nice and said he had everything cause I had filed electronically. He scanned through the big envelope but didn't do much with what was in it. He scanned my finger prints again. After my visa was stamped, I had to see someone else to import my car, which was easy since I had a letter from the manufacturer, and a list of what was packed, and car looked in reasonable shape. Took 2 hours but most of that was just waiting. |
