Lyne & Brian CDN-USA Border 2015-06-22 No Yes - High Champlain/Lacolle Border. Waited 2 hours before being called to a desk, only to hear one of the officier shout; Oh you ended up with the K1, Good luck! Also was asked the same questions as the interview, if not more, Felt like there was a problem. She had the instruction Booklet with her and took about 45 mins processing all our paperwork. 2024-10-24
Georgia & Thelan CDN-USA Border 2012-07-09 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High Blew me away how happy all the CBS folks were. Could not have been better and very quick to help me fix a problem with chains dragging on my trailor. All in all I was shocked at how cooperative they all were. 2014-12-25
Sarrobo CB & SR CDN-USA Border 2018-08-01 Yes,Passport Stamp No - High Crossed at the Pembina/Emerson border crossing at the Manitoba/North Dakota border. Despite the fact that we were told all our documents would be available electronically, they still asked to see the originals - always have them with you! We were there about 45 minutes and had no issues (except Fox News blaring in the background). If anything we expected them to have more questions or to check our car, but nope! The entire thing was mostly waiting for them to process the paperwork, which was probably a little more involved since I was also re-importing my car back to the US. 2022-02-07

Austin & Mark CDN-USA Border 2014-11-20 Yes,Passport Stamp Yes - High POE at Douglas (Peace Arch) US-Canada Border Crossing in Blaine, WA on Nov 20 (Thurs), 2014 Since we lived in Vancouver, Canada and we were moving to Seattle, we rented a car to move our moving boxes. The border crossing wait time was 3 minutes (not POE processing) since we arrived the POE on Thursday at 1pm. There were two border guards (white male in glasses and young white female) in the left booth. I informed the male border guard that I was entering the US to become a permanent resident. I showed my passport with the visa and the sealed envelop. The male border guard talked to the female border guard, "Have you seen this document? Sometime last year, we have begun allowing same-sex couples to sponsor for immigration if they qualify." The male border guard asked us to come inside of the office for POE processing so we parked the car and went inside. As we entered the office, I saw a long line of people waiting to be served. As we were waiting in the line, the young female border guard we saw outside came to us and asked us to follow her. She took us to the desk of the male border guard we saw outside. It turned out that female border guard was in training and the male border guard was showing her how to process a permanent resident visa. I found the border guards friendly. The male border guard asked us when and where we got married. He asked me if we were importing the car. I told him that it was a rental car and we rented it to move our stuff. He told me, "That's all you have? You don't have any furniture?" I told him, "We sold our furniture on craigslist!" There was another male border guard (supervisor?) sitting next to him. He looked at me and laughed. The male border guard asked me to have a seat while he processed my paper. About 10 minutes later, the male border guard asked me to come back to his desk for a fingerprint, to sign a paper, and to verify the address they're sending my 2-year Green Card to. After the end of it, the male border guard told me "Welcome to the United States!" and shook my hand! 2018-12-16
blank avatar mat & lin CDN-USA Border 2018-09-26 Yes,Passport Stamp No - High Thousand Islands - Alexandria Bay crossing point.
