I was the first in line. But the officer had to check the crew of 2 airlines first and then me so even if I was first I had to wait 40 minutes but he was very friendly. |

Only one guy on the desk in the special entry area, so I had to wait a while for him to get to me, even if there were only a family of 3 and a single lady in front of me(and he was also approving passengers in wheelchairs at the same time). I was told that in no way was I obliged to get married and if I wanted I could return home any time in the 90 days. There was a water fountain and restrooms in the area that you could use. When leaving the baggage area the customs guy was interested in what I had with me (3 huge bags including a bedding roll). But when he saw that I was immigrating he didn't cause me any problems. I did miss my connection, but to be honest, I knew I hadn't really left enough time to get it. I was able to get on another plane without any problems (Alaska Airlines, no extra charges). |

POE was VERY friendly and extremely easy. Not too long of a wait... and the only question asked was what date we were married, that's it! In and out in minutes. |

Seattle POE is notoriously slow. Very crowded and not many officers. After 40 minutes of waiting, they directed us to a new line and a new window opened. The officer was extremely friendly and funny. I gave him my brown envelop and apologized that it was a bit torn after 20 hours of traveling around the world. He didn't seem to bother which was relieving. Photo and fingerprints as usual. Then he opened the envelop, stapled the I-94 on my passport and told me that I had to get married within 90 days and friendly suggested me to report any kind of ''domestic abuse'' if ever. He was very relaxed and knew what he was doing. I went to collect my bags and that was it! No extra questions asked. |
