So blessed with the immigration officer in San Diego. My flight was delayed for 1 hour from Narita and when I arrived at the immigration section, someone was waiting for me and immediately asked my name. I was surprised and thought that my husband knows him but I'm wrong. He was the immigration officer and luckily I'm the only one to be interviewed. He guided me along the way and he was very nice plus he's a Filipino. We talked a lot about our country. Feels like home. :) My travel went so awesome because of him. Thanks Sir Amaro for being so nice and for guiding me all the way. It was quick and relaxed process. |

We came in driving via San Ysidro. We were too lazy to walk to the historic U.S. custom house, so we drive to the inspection. They send us to the second inspection, which is normal operation for inspector. What we did not know is that at the second inspection, there are no experienced officers, which caused everyone delay. First 3 hours that we have waited, our paper were just sitting there, because officers there were under-trained to properly handle our papers. The officer finally request a help, but other officer did not know how to handle our papers neither. After 4 hours waiting in second inspection, they finally let us go with papers. Horrible experience. We should just walked and take care the papers there by the professionals. |
