Couldn't go to a citizens' line, because some retard decided we couldn't. (When we go to the Immigration Officer through the visitor's line, I asked him, if it would've been fine to go to US Citizens line and he said - OF COURSE).
So, in any case, IO opened up the envelope and processed Daria and escorted us to another immigration station. That wait was a bit frustrating, because there was no one else but us waiting and the young girl (IO) at the counter was a bit too preoccupied flirting with a guy. That went on for a good 30 minutes, until a second IO came around and grabbed our documents from that girl's desk. We were processed in the matter of minutes and were sent on our way. |

The Immigration staff is real slow. They made me wait for an hour for no reason and it was quiet a pain after an 18 hours flight. Rest was ok. |

My husband was out to see me only half hour after he arrived. The lines were short and the officer that took his envelope only asked him about the address that he would be staying. The only reason it took half hour is because there was some confusion with the luggage. Some passengers' luggage was left behind.
My husband mentioned that the person that took his fingerprints was arguing with another coworker about someone else. Not the most professional experience, but he said at one point it was funny. But, we don't care about that because he wasn't hassled or harassed. He is here. :-) |

Got inline with @ visitors section, fast wait time, went up to ins officer and my wife was quickly admitted with no questions asked. Went to section 4, they had her sign a card and put her index finder ink print on a paper and we got the luggage. that was the longest part. Total time in passport control was less than 40 minutes from wait to luggage. The luggage line was long and 2 people were clearing which is stupid for 200 people. but overall a very smooth and easy process. |
