Chris & Jennifer	CDN-USA Border	2008-08-27	- High	We went to the Lewiston/Queenstown bridge and thank goodness we had an inventory list of our car contents because the guard at the gate was very unhappy to see us pulling up with a full car load. We also had all the boexs labeled and facing out - so he could easy see through the left rear window that we were organized. After we gave him the inventory list he was super nice to us. Once inside we did have to wait 3 hours before we were called. We were not harrassed at all and he was very happy that we had everythign organized and complete, yet we did see many people before us get super harrassed and even turned down and turned away for all kinds of visas. It was hard to sit there for 3 hours and watch that. If you are organized, answer their questions very straightforward, then it shouldn't be a problem.	2010-07-27

When asked if the "Employment Authorized" stamp would be given, the IO responded VERY gruffly that my then-fiance was "not to perform any work at all, paid or unpaid, until the green card was received". But he still did receive the stamp on his passport. Go figure. Other than that, it was hassle free.	2014-02-21
