There was a very long wait in the immigration line at this POE which caused my husband to miss his flight. Even with a 2 hour stand by! He was able to catch the next flight which re-routed him to Atlanta and then finally to Houston where he was greeted by me, my sister, Harry Potter, and Spiderman--they're secretly my nephews...it was really Halloween (lol)! :) |

She didn't get any large amount of harassment as far as questions or doubts about the intent of her arrival. However, it appears that the people at the Dallas POE typically input all of the data of the entry immediately. She and I were waiting at the airport for about 4 hours. She was inside with the INS/DHS people waiting as they were inputting all of her data and I was outside the international exit gate. We were just waiting and were the last people to come through that exit. All other immediate flights and passengers went through customs and whatnot before she did. The plus side was that they were very interested in her culture and was asking about wedding traditions and stuff. After awhile it got tiring and she wished they would just hurry up with the data entry.
So no problems... just be prepared to wait. |

Officer was friendly and accomodating. I did not feel any pressure at all, and I went through immigrations in about 10 minutes. |

My travel experience.. all in all wow!
hehe.. i love the stop over in Japan but to be honest i got lost there almost! hehe..POE- Houston huge! but i had 3 to 4 hours bad experience from change of flight to dallas, to the delay of the local plane then from all the reasons on delaying the flight.. from turning around for hours at the run way.. (cold and hugry with headache..) my husband almost thought i screwed him! gosh! forgive me for that word.. he really almost drive back home) im glad he decided to go back and ask a lady there waiting for the delayed flight. we thought i will arrive to dallas 5:30 t0 6:30pm wishing i can see the view...instead i arrive in dallas fort worth airport 10pm..
imagine his boss,friends and relatives are in the house waiting for us to see me with all the welcome stuff and food.. ohh my!!! i was almost fell when my husband opened the door and found a lot of people.. surprise!!!! really????
hehehe... funny..all in all charged to experience people! |
