Request for Evidence to prove a 'Good Faith Marriage' - probably the most absurd request at this point after being in a relationship for over 8 years, married for 3 of those, but I was so sick of paperwork that I sent in the bare minimum for this Lifting of conditions portion of the process. It just goes to show that you can never send too much information, because for the RFE we sent in over 300 pages of bank statements, taxes, insurance forms, personal flight receipts, etc (totally 3.5 lbs of paper) and his case was approved within one week. |

We waited about 8 months. Way over the normal processing time (6mo). If you think your case is taking too long, call USCIS customer service and speak with tier 2 officer. We did on 11/4 and the same day our status changed to "your new card is being produced." On 11/9 the status changed to "My new card was mailed to me." On 11/11 I received my new card via priority mail. |
