Our 1 year extension had expired last week and we were forced to run to Atlanta and get Marie's passport stamped for an additional 1 year extension. Of course, 1 week later her Removal of Conditions came in the mail. The web site in our case has still not been updated. The backlog in Vermont is disgraceful. This legal immigration system is very broken. Overall, I estimate my wife's total time from applying for the K-1 until removal of conditions took almost 18 months longer than it should have.
