This took awhile. We needed to go to Chicago twice to get 551 stamps. The first was good for 6 months. At that time the officer thought we would get the lifted conditions and or interview before it expired. However, after not receiving the card in 5 months we made another appointment to extend the 551 stamp another 6 months. 5 days later we received notice that lifting conditions was granted and card would arrive 30 - 60 days. |

Still waiting. Will be making Infopass appointment within the next couple of weeks to get an I-551 stamp to extend the extension another year. Looks like the CSC is running a bit behind compared to the VSC.
Got the Infopass appointment last month along with the I-551 stamp. and just received a notice stating that our case was transferred to the Nebraska Service Center. Tried to look up the processing time for the Nebraska Service Center, but it looks like they usually don't do I-751 processing.
Our case went back to California and two months later the green card is in production. Wooohooo! |
