It's been a year since filed. First received letter giving 12 months extension of gc then another letter extending it 6 more months. Received notice that biometrics were not required. Website shows no change/no data to show. Was able to travel to Morocco and return to US with no issues, other than leaving there (guy didnt understand documents and didn't want to let Jordi go, but another told him to). Just waiting and hoping to get through. Crazy part is in 2 months he will be eligible to apply for citizenship. Hate to do it after all the money spent for this gc. We will see.
Got green card in mail, no interview. Decided to go ahead and file for citizenship, since travel with Moroccan passport is not easy, even with a green card. |
