Card was returned to USCIS with the I-90 as required in 2015. Now we're just in limbo. They won't process I-751 until they get the card, but we don't have it anymore as USCIS had it and lost it. Gov't has literally screwed up every step of our process. So frustating. Got combo interview with N400 2019-03-20

Iyuwa624 josh & Yuko California Service Center 2011-05-19 2011-07-22 No Yes After I filed I-751 in May 2011. I had two biometrics in 2011. After that, I haven't heard from USCIS although I have contacted to customer service and talked to immigration officers for a couple of times. I went back to Japan at least 4 times after 2009 and LAX immigration took my 2 years green card in January 2013. I sent joint documents in October 2012 until I mentioned to an immigration office, USCIS did not sent me any additional requests. at that time, she told me that if I did't turn in the joint documents, USCIS would deny my case. I believe my case hasn't denied because I can go to school and travel outside of the U.S. I just talked to an immigration office on the phone and she told me to wait until the first week of August. I have no idea why they need to do background check for over 2 years. 2013-07-17
