blank avatar Appie & Traci Vermont Service Center 2009-04-13 Originally applied for Fee Waiver in January, forgot a document, took 1 month to receive denial for missing document. Re-filed in February with correct documents, denied for being "above the poverty level." Don't bother applying for Fee Waiver if you make more than 100% of poverty level. Takes over 1 month to just get denied, however if you're short on cash, as long as you submit your Fee Waiver docs by the time you are supposed submit the non fee-waiver application, it can buy you a month before you have to actually send the big fat check, and your documents will still be considered "on time" 2009-04-22
