We sent EAD form along with AOS (joint filling) . Received RFE - statement of Name (strange because we sent copy of passport, marriage cert, Social Security Card with AOS application). Advice: make extra copies of passport, marriage cert, SS# card for EAD application. VERY FRUSTRATED it took 6 months to get a work permit! |

Received Notice of approval 8/12/17. Called USIC Aug 9th to check status, they said still under review but the approval letter is stamped on Aug 9. Does't the system get updated immediately when an approval letter gets sent out? |
