Update:
Called USCIS on 10/26/2017 again as I still haven't received my EAD. Another case inquiery was filed with the USCIS. Waiting for response.
Update 11/20/2017:
Received a status update today saying the case was approved. (Inquiery is still not assigned though.)
Update 11/27/2017:
Received card in mail.
