Overall it took me two months and a day to receive my EAD from the moment I applied for it. My main comment here would be to encourage future applicants not to rush and try to make a name change before EAD arrives, cause in some cases it works, in most - it doesn't. The safer way to go with it is to wait till EAD is in your hands and only then go to Social Security Office requesting to do a name change. They never reject these requests at this point.	2015-05-06
