Misterscn Ana Maria & Jim Vermont Service Center Washington DC 2008-01-14 2008-01-18 2008-03-14 Yes 2008-03-14 Filed N400 under Sec 319(b) INA due to government re-assignement from Arlington, VA to Italy in April 2008. When I-797c was received it stated that they were going to refund $80 for biometrics that was already sent, supposedly because the biometrics was captured less than 4 months earlier. It also stated that USCIS would notify Ana Maria about her interview and exam within 90 days of receipt. Update 27 Feb 08: Wife received an email from USCIS Office in Fairfax VA to select a date for her interview. They offered 3 dates on Fridays. First Available was 14 Mar 08. Once she replied to the email she received an I-797 form via email from USCIS Fairfax VA to report to Prosperity Ave office at 8 am on 14 Mar 08. In the signature block of the email it appears they have a special agent there who handles only 319(b) cases for DoD & Military Personnel. Update 15 Mar 08: Wife reported to USCIS Office in Fairfax, VA @ 7:45 am. Went to 2nd Floor Reception Area. Handed letter to receptionist. 11 cases already in room ahead of us. 3 Agents handling interview cases. Most were 319(b) cases. Wife called into interview @ 9:35 am. Interviewed by Ms. Hernandez. Wife out of interview @ 10:00 am - approved. Wife given slip of paper to report back @ 11:30 for ceremony. Take quick break for a snack. At 11:15 supervisior calls candidates to 2nd Floor Conf Room to review naturalization certificates and be seated. Family members & Guests called in @ 12:00. Ceremony begins @12:15 pm. Ceremony complete by 12:40 pm. Volunteers on site for Voter Registration. Wife registers with Fairfax County and we are out the foor @ 12:50 pm with Naturalization Certificate. 2008-03-15
