Olga & Andre 2023-04-04 2023-04-04 2023-08-21 2023-10-17 Yes 2023-10-27 - We originally had a biometrics appt date of 14 June, but we were out of the country. Had to reschedule a few times until we were finally able to make the appt for 21 August 23. Interview on 17 OCT 23 covered the I-751 and N-400 simultaneously, we both had to be present. Both petitions were approved and the Oath ceremony was 27 OCT 23. 2024-01-11

Julkarnain Noman & Elena Marie Calvillo Chicago IL 2023-12-29 2024-01-26 2024-02-13 2024-04-01 Yes 2024-04-15 Go to the interview prepared! My husband studied several civics questions from videos, flashcards, and local resources from friends. At the interview, they asked several yes and no questions based on the form you applied for citizenship and they ask questions from the form to test your English literacy. Since my husband already knows English really well, he answered more civics than English questions. Do bring your tax forms and any copies of documents you provided to USCIS, although they may not ask for them. My husband wasn't asked about anything , the officer just started the interview and finished with a breeze in 10 minutes. And lastly , your ceremony will give you the chance to register to vote and you will get your certificate of naturalization in person. You do have to give up your green card because you would be considered American citizen. Other than that, the whole process of applying was easy. 2024-04-18
