1. Walk-in Biometrics at the Port Chester NY office. No problem and super fast and friendly. They did not even ask for a reason why I was showing up a week to early.
2. 03/16/2014 Filed AR-11 online to change address from CT to MO. Local CIS office changed from Hartford CT to St. Louis MO |

Filed for expedited approval due to "Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States" (observing presidential election in Ukraine) on 2014-04-10 (Thursday) by phone, was asked for documents by email next evening (Friday), sent that night, approved Tuesday morning (less than 3 business days). Received paper AP on Thursday, received combo card Saturday. (Even though I did not ask for EAD as I had no valid reason, as I had already done my biometrics 12 days earlier I guess they just figured, "I'm looking at it now, may as well just approve it rather than have someone else reread the whole casefile in a month".) |
