I married my soulmate and then she petitioned for me :) On 9/25/13 an interview notice was sent out. Interview scheduled for 10/31/13. On 10/31 my wife and I arrived at the Federal Plaza in NYC about 40 minutes early. We cleared security quickly and got a ticket in the interview area. In less than 10 mins our number was called and we were interviewed for about 15-20mins. The interviewer wrote I-485 pending in my passport and gave me a template letter sheet that said that a further review will be done and that we should receive a decision by mail within 60 days. He did mutter that the decision will most likely take place by the end of the day. Later that night I checked the online status and the I-130 said that the petition was approved and the I-485 said that there was a new status registered. On Nov 4, my green card was in production. | 2018-05-13 |
