Ale & Kevin K1 New York City NY 2014-03-11 2014-03-24 2014-04-25 2015-01-26 Yes No 2015-01-31 I received a potential interview waiver notice on June 17, 2014. They also stated in the letter that due to workload factors, my case would be delayed 6 months from that notice. And exactly 7 months later, on Jan 26 I received a call from this really nice lady from USCIS Florida saying that I was missing pages 2-4 from my second medical (The one that is actually only the vaccine transcript), & that she's send me an information request notice in order for her to be able to approve my application. I remembered that in the instructions, it said that If you had a full medical examination done within one year of your AOS application, you only had to sumbit pages 1&5. Being pg.1 your personal Bio info and pg.5 the actual vaccine transcrpt. To make a long story short, she ended up looking into my first medical (done in Juarez, Mex.) and saw the info she needed. Then she said the sweetest words: Never mind, you are approved & will be receiving your card within 7-10 days. MORAL OF THE STORY: Sometimes these cases are being processed by people who usually don't process these applications, so keep in hand a list of what you submitted & why, so nobody scares-the-hell-out-of-your-immigration-status & you are able to explain what you did & why. I waited about 10 days and I received my green card in the mail. This expires in 2 years. 2017-02-19
