Laarni Joy & Anthony K1 Portland OR 2019-08-05 2019-08-12 2019-09-06 2020-03-17 Yes 2020-03-23 Biometrics was done at Portland Usics Sept 6, 2019 I got 10am schedule. Approval Notice was check upon entering. You can bring someone to accompany you, I brought my husband with me. When I went inside, there's a lot of people so I tried to line up to get a number but the officer told me to wait for them to call the 10am biometric applicants. So it was 9:30am they called us and lined up. They checked the notice name against your id. I told her I don't have my ID yet but I have my marriage cert. She said alright and proceed to the yellow office and filled the form. Form was basic questions, married name, maiden name, age, weight, height, ethnicity. Then the officer in the yellow office inspected the notice, id, marriage cert and form. No questions, just stamp it I got back up to the previous line and told me to wait for my number to be called. After a minute I was called. An officer will giide you to a booth, took your picture and guide you for the fingerprints. Simple and easy. Green Card Interview with Spouse Date: March 17,2020 Time Schedule: 1:45PM Location: Portland, Oregon Since it states that we shouldn’t be at the office more than 30 minutes.. we took out time and left our apartment before 1pm and we arrived at the Immigration office by 1:30pm and people are lining up to come in. It’s pretty strict and those who are just needed are allowed to go inside becuase of the COVID-19 the world is experiencing. We checked in, gave the interview invitation and id, took a picture and scan the index righ and left finger, gave us a ticket number and waited for our name to be called. It was like an hour of waiting. Then interview asked us to remain standing for an oath. Here are the questions: O: What is your legal name? Me: answer O: what other names you used? Me: answer You (pointing to my husband) may answer this question, tell me her birthday Husband: answer O: can you tell me what’s her parents names? Husband: Answer O: do you have SSN? (I forgot to bring the card but I since I memorized it so it’s fine) O: do you work? Me: answer O: Anyone can answer, when was your wedding date? My husband answer Then the officer will ask about the the long questions that you should say NO always Then after that she will ask you to story tell about how you met, your common thing to do and asked to submit paperworks with both of our names. We submitted, rental lease, bank accounts, life insurance, utilities, tax and submitted some pictures. After that, she said everything’s fine and she will approve it and just wait for the card to arrive. 2024-01-26
