My husband and I brought our K2 children as well. Since, San Antonion is a 2 1/2 hr drive from where we live, we left our house at 4:30AM and arrived at San Antonio at 6:30AM. Fortunately, we were able to have our breakfast before we enter the USCIS building. We entered the building at exactly 7:45AM. An immigration officer called us at around 8:30AM and we were ushered to a private room. At first, the IO asked my husband about my family and about my personal information. Then, my husband and kids were asked to wait outside. I was left alone in the private room with the IO, she asked the YES or NO questions that it’s on the AOS paperworks and she proceeded asking me about my husband’s personal information. The IO never asked any documents from me. The interview lasted for 1 hr. We were really fortunate that our IO is a female and she is super nice. At the end of our interview, the IO said that me and my kids were approved. The whole process is a breeze including getting in to the USCIS building. | 2019-06-01

Asked all the normal relationship questions. We were prepared plus we front loaded our I-485 plus we brought more documentation and pictures than were requested. Around 15 minutes into the interview, we knew that the AOS would be approved, which was confirmed by the officer at the end of the interview. She approved our case 20 minutes after we left. | 2023-07-09
