There is another man in the USA with the same name as my husband and spelled the same way. He was filing papers with INS the same time my husband was and he moved from NJ to GA and put in a change of address; to make a long story short they forwarded all my husbands INS paperwork to that guy !! What a huge mess it took 5 months to track everything down and resubmit all new Green card and AP paperwork (AP was done in June). We had to call our state Representative John Shimpkus in order to get things done or who knows were we'd be now. | 2007-10-31

I received a \'Welcome to the US\' letter in the mail 4 days later. In the letter, it states that I should receive my green card in 3 weeks. Nothing in my passport was stamped. The officer did remove my I-94 from my passport though. | 2007-09-11
