Had to reschedule for San Antonio, TX on 27 Aug 2014. Interview went well and took about one hour. Did look for evidence of common residence marriage. The only questions asked was our story and how we went from the start to now. Wife and I were never separated and were asked questions while sitting next each other. Interviewing officer was very direct and to the point. Some questions threw us off on purpose which was understandable, perhaps to verify we were speaking the truth which was understandable. We were approved on the spot and passport was stamped and cleared. We would get the card about 2-3 weeks later. 2014-09-07
Mwetterh Rosary & Martin K1 San Antonio TX 2014-04-24 2014-05-13 2014-06-06 2014-08-13 2014-08-13 Yes Yes 2014-08-21 The interview for the green card went very smooth but there is one hiccup. At then end of the interview they ask you to review info for the greencard and I did and everything was fine. They make it a point to say if anything is wrong you will have to pay another $450 to fix it so of course I reviewed the info. Then when receive the card and there is a typo in Rose's last name. So I call and they tell me to file another form and unless we can prove it was immigrations fault we will have to pay another $450. It's ridiculous. When you leave the office they give you nothing intentionally. So I wonder did I miss the typo or did it just happened to get changed by one character knowing I would have nothing to prove after the fact and making immigration yet more money. BS 2019-07-24
