We checked in for in person interview and we were directed upstairs to be seated where we had to wait for no more than 5 minutes. We both were invited to the office and the officer went through application form to double check all “ No “ and “ yes” answers and we were said the application is approved and we should receive GC in 30 days but we’ve received GC in 10 days. Interview took less than 5 minutes. |

Both our biometrics date and our in person interview were rescheduled (two separate events) which was very frustrating.
After our interview, we received an RFE and submitted the requested one document about 2 weeks later. Once USCIS received it, the almost immediately approved his greencard (the next day, I believe).
Lots and lots of delays and false starts but in the end, things worked out luckily! Couldn't be happier that this process is basically over (well, until the removal of conditions in 2 years!). |
