Long line since it’s for tourists as well, but no complaints. It’s a process that we all go through. The officer asked me to stand on the side after checking my passport and getting hold of the yellow packet. He then asked for an escort, I was escorted to a room where there’s a lot more officers inside. Not longer than fiver minutes, was called. He just asked if me and fiancé are just trying out or are we really getting married. I said we are really getting married. Then he stamped my passport. Then off I go. 😊

I was a bit afraid of Houston as POE since I read really bad reviews. The queue took about 30 minutes since there was not so many people and it was a Sunday. Once I got to the CBP officer he asked me about the IV Package that I didn't have since the case was electronic on CEAC. He asked me a couple of questions, took my fingerprints and a picture and then he closed the queue and walked me to the room they have for a second interview. There was only one person in the room before me so it was really quick, the CBP officer asked me a couple of questions about my wife and my occupation. The interview took like 5 minutes and they were super nice.
After it he stamped the seal in my passport, explained me a couple of things and wished me good luck.

For people arriving LEGALLY they are extremely obnoxious. Snatching items from my husband's hand, yelling, un-necessary waiting. No food. 3.5 hours - no ideas why. Can't text loved ones waiting. They never asked my husband's address so we have to jump through hoops to get it changed with USCIS in order to have the VISA sent to the right place. If I can avoid it I will never fly into Houston again. Even domestically. No thanks.

The officers in the first control it was nice with me they say me congratulations because I'm going to get married but later when they took me into the room for check the envelopes the cop who made my entry it wasn't nice at all. Saying my country (Venezuela) deserve the president we have for to be more obedient. Criminal comment. It was very disrespectful and inhuman knowing the bad situation my country has now. I was smiling but after that I was very serious and just a wanted my passports back ( me and my boys) and run away from that room. Even they were making mock about my fiance. I hated my experience in that airport plus I was hurry because my flight from Bogota it was delayed so I needed to take my next flight soon. So after 30 min waiting while he was checking our papers and saying offenses he gave us our passports back and asked me if I know what are the condition that visa I said yes ( with my obvious angry face) and he asked what they are and and I answered get married before 90 days he was saying some things just I said thank you ( I shouldn't but I have manner) and just I took our passport and left. I left him talking alone. My interview it was extremely good in the embassy but my POE it was a nightmare.
