I really cannot say anything good about how we were treated or how our case was handled… I do not think you will find a tougher road to travel in any other Embassy or Consulate in the world! You need to be strong and do not give up. If your petition is legitimate you will eventually prevail after considerable expense and much heartbreak…

We’ve only got the Package 4 a week before the interview so we were scrambling to get the medical schedule and completed for the interview. The medical exam was longer for us than I expected. We went in the first day for the exam (x-ray, blood test, full body checkup), but have to come back at 6:30am every day for the next 3 days for sputum sample/test. In fact, my fiance has to go to ChoRay in the early morning before the interview to have her last sample taken. We were anxious but the nurse told us we could go to the interview and have the medical result submitted later.
Before the interview, we knew we would get blue awaiting the medical results, but were surprised when she came out with also a request for the timeline.
She did submit the timeline before the interview. However, after the interview, they gave it back with the blue sheet asking again for the timeline. I did expect to get blue for the medical but not the timeline. I was disappointed but not upset, since I know I still have to wait for the medical. I don’t know why they would not take the timeline right there and made us bring it back later though. I thought it may be wise for them to take it and still give us blue for the medical, while taking their time to review our timeline for more details. That would make me happy...

Quite an interview... It lasted close to 75 minutes.. over 100 questions... including when was the first time you had sex.. It was quick in some respects.. it was the first interview of the day.. and was given a blue slip before 10 AM... arrived at 6 AM and there was already a large crowd...
The interviewer was an african american woman and the translator was a VN man. The CO refused to allow the interview to be done in english... there were several times that she raised her voice during the interview and asked several questions 2 or 3 times.. for the most part the questions were all from that list of 200 questions posted in the VN regional forum...
There is not much doubt that the blue slip was prepared before the interview and that the entire interview was just to see if they could come up with a reason to deny.. they tried hard to find a reason but there was none.
For those that are going to HCMC for an interview.. be prepared for the worst... expect a vicious interviewer and things can only get better from there... expect to hear other people crying as this was the case on that day... its very loud and can be difficult to hear the questioning..
Evidence that was frontloaded was requested in the blue slip.. in other words.. they had the documentation, but asked for it again...
