The interview went smoothly, the first interviewer only asked for my IDs while others were asked for more proof. I was carrying a bag full of evidence but I didn't take out a single one from the stack. The consul asked me about 3 questions, like where did I graduate from, where do I work and my plans when I get to the US.

Great experience, very kind interviewer. Lots of preparation, prayers, organization, and the nature of our petition helped us in our K1 approval.

The process is very straightforward, however there are a few things that are influenced by the human element involved.

I was told that the medical was easy and very efficient. My fiancee had no trouble and was not made to feel uncomfortable during this part of the process like we had heard in past accounts.

The interview is a completely diffeent story. Alot of confusion and seemly chaos. Instructions were not made clear and impatientance seemed the flavor of the day.

After is was all said and done, it has just come to our attention that additional doc's are needed to complete the process. Nothing was mentioned during the interview about this. Only the opposite can be said. My fiancee was told to expect delivery of the visa in 7 to 10 business days later. That she was approved and could get ready to travel as soon as the visa arived to her home. 30 days have been lost waiting patiently and now we go back to the embassy to try to resolve thie new found discrepancy!
Let me say that it doesn't have to be this way. I understand about fighting fraud and the like. But the typical attitude seems to be you are fraud until you prove otherwise! Tainted attitudes and dispositions are prevaliant. Thus it is not anywhere near the type of experience it should be for the applicant or their family.
Thankyou for reading and listening.
