Review Topic: K3 Visa

I was interviewed on the Jan 25, 2006. I paid the Visa fee and was asked to hold on to all the paper work except for the following to kept: the passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, police records, 2 photos and the 2 visa forms. The other paper work I had been asked to bring (listed below) I was asked to keep until the interview. At the time of the interview, I had all the following with me, but neglected to ask if they needed them:

1) I-134 Affidavit of support.
2) Regular deposits to my wife checking account + her YTD deposits
3) Deposits to her Savings account and her YTD deposits
4) Employment verification
5) Federal Income
6)Tax returns of the three years 2002/2003/2004
7) My vaccination Documentation.
8) photos

I was only asked about the photos and forgot to ask if they needed the other paper work. I was wondering if I could fax them or should I bring them with me on my next visit to the consulate. I am concerned that perhaps by not leaving the paper work listed above I have caused a delay in our case. The officer told me that I would be contacted within a week when the processing is completed - Section 221(g) –

After a week on the Tue, 7 Feb 2006 they called me and ask me to bring my passport. I arrive to the consulate at 01:24 pm they said I have to be there at 1:00 pm I was not in time. And I give them my passport they said they will call me soon. They are extremely helpful and friendly; They answered emails and returned phone calls. I give them 5 stars

I just filed for my fiance in Morocco. I assume I will receive my first notice soon. Can anyone tell me when I will need to send the affadavit of support to my fiance? Do I need to get a police report as well to send to him?

Interview:
Interview was on Thursday, SO was asked many questions about everything. The questioning went fine. He was asked if he had additional photos of us, upon presenting them he was asked for photos of our engagement party. He did not have those photos with him so the consulate asked him to come back on Monday with the photos...no 221g as far as I know, just a paper stating that:

Further consideration for approval of the applicant's K1 fiance visa will be made upon presentation of the following documents: Fiance Ceremony Photos.

Return to Consulate with Photos Requested:
Upon arrival to the door, security would not let him in. They told him his interview was finished and that he must leave the photos with them and they would give them to the CO. They said they will call anytime.

There is no indication of approval or denial, none whatsoever. The affidavit of support was not taken at the time of the interview, nor was our proof of ongoing relationship.

Honestly, I am convinced that our government loves to play games with our heads in these cases. There is no consistency between consulates...even less between consular officers in the same consulate when it comes to documentation and communication. I realize every case is different...but to leave us hanging like this is so frustrating.

I am rating this consulate a "1" until I hear something on our case...until then we wait patiently like we have been for the past 8 months. Insh'allah we will hear something soon and we can be together without me having to make a drastic life-change like...moving to Morocco. If nothing is heard for 2 weeks I will begin calling and emailing the consulate on a status of our case.

no smiley on this one yet.
