Hi Y'all,
I was under stress that day, because, I had a plane tickets to USA in two days.
I know it is stupid, but when you are young, you like the risk, right?
So, I was in shock, when a secretary at the first window told me that my original birth certificate is not translated, and I will need to come back LATER!
But I had my old (Russian) Birth certificate with translation and notary stamp, so I felt a relieve.
Like everybody I had all the proofs with me, all copies, lots of pictures, pay stubs, tax returns of my husband, plain tickets and so on...
The interview took only 5 minutes. The consulate was very nice. He ask how we met, how many relatives I have in USA, when was the first time when I traveled to USA.. .and... that was about it... he asked for my passport and said I will get it back in two days. Then I went back to talk to secretory and tried to explain her that I am going to miss my flight, but she said that MAYBE if I will call the next day there is a chance I will get it back at 3 p.m. That was the longest 24 hours I ever had in my life... believe me... never buy tickets in advance and especially the cheapest ones because they are non-returnable - non-changeable
I got back my passport the next day after interview. The interview was a pies of cake, but the waiting - sucked..
Oh ... and I waited for may green card in USA for 4 weeks good luck y'all !

Overall I would say the experience was good. I had heard from a person going through Vilnius embassy a month before me that no proof of relationship was asked and yet, they decided to do a second interview without saying that that was the reason.
So having heard about that I took loads of photos, boarding passes from various trips, receipts showing that we charged my fiancée’s credit card on the same trips and letters addressed to me and him at the apartment we have been living in together for 2 years. I put all of this in a big A4 sized envelope and marked it with a note saying ‘PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP’, of course it was about half inch thick. I placed it in between me and the interviewer, the note was facing the interviewer, which was something I did not intend to do and noticed only halfway through the interview At one point the interviewer asked me whether we travel together and if so where. So I named the countries we have visited together and said: ‘I have plenty of pictures right here if you would like to see them’ the interviewer (a cute guy in his thirties) just looked at the envelope, smiled and said: ‘that’s fine you are good to go, so your passport will be ready in 2 days…’ and that is how I got approved.
An advice I would give anyone going through the process is not to trust the post office. If you order a police certificate and ask for it to be mailed, once the days passes just go to the post office and ask for it. I was waiting for mine for 2 weeks and it was still not coming when I realized that I ordered the wrong thing anyway, so I asked for the right one (israsas) to be prepared in a day and still wasn’t getting it in the post. Finally I just lost my patience and called the department at which point they said it’s been sent a few days ago. I went to the post office the same day and got all of the letters. They were pretending that no one was home when they tried to deliver the documents, even though my fiancé was purposely sticking at home and waiting for them.
Anyway, the embassy experience was good and they will schedule your interview for the next week after you send in the packet 3, so be sure to already have all of the required documents in hand including the medical!

It wasn't so easy as I imagined. Though we had everything prepared, I needed to visit embassy twice for interview. Lots of different questions (starting how do you met your fiancee to what does his sister do in her life, what are names of investors in his business , etc). All stuff and Consul were very polite and nice. it took a while to receive visa but it was worth to do it. So prepare to have lots of patience and good luck javascript:emoticon('')
