Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Well i had a pretty smooth AOS interview. We reached the center approximately 45 minutes before our scheduled appointment and checked in with the staff at the reception. We were carrying all required evidences and 2 copies of every supporting evidences with us. We waited in the reception area along with other interviewees for about 20 minutes and then we were called inside by our interviewer. The lady officer was probably in her early 30's and she had a very pleasant demeanor.

The interview was pretty quick and it lasted for about 30 minutes in total. The interviewer first took our ids and verified it and then asked us to sign the forms. She asked us some random unrelated questions to make us feel comfortable. She asked us about our first meeting, dates, family, travel, enagagements, jobs, residence, marriage and all. Review Topic: Naturalization

Pretty straight forward. When I arrived, the waiting area was really full, but I got seen pretty quickly (scheduled for 10:10am, started interview around 10:30am). Interview lasted around 20 minutes. First off I provided my documentation (passport, DL, GC, etc.), then went through the entire application confirming answers. Civics test was straight forward, was asked the following:
1) Who was the first president
2) Who is the governor of VA (home state)
3) What is one promise you make when becoming a US citizen
4) Name two federal holidays
5) Where is the Statue of Liberty located
6) What movement tried to end racial discrimination

For the writing I was asked to write down "The President lives in the White House"
I forget what I had to read...
That said, English is my first language, so wasn't expecting any trouble there.
The Immigration Officer was very nice.
He said I passed all the tests, and he woul... read complete review
