We were very nervous about our interview however our IO made us feel comfortable and was really nice. There was almost no one there when we went on Friday afternoon. Interview was done on a tablet, lasted about 25 minutes, with 10 minutes of that time being him reviewing our case while he was muted on the tablet. He went through the application with us, asked for any additional documents we might want to submit, however he barely took anything additional from us other than our 2019 Tax Return, a couple of recent pictures and the I-693 Medical Exam (any documents we submitted though he told us he could not touch for 72 hours so they were placed in an envelope in a box in the room we were in). He asked me maybe 3 or 4 questions about how we met and such and he said he had what he needed. He told us it'd take up to 30 days to process our case. It’s a surreal experience at the Durham, NC office in light of Covid. They definitely space out AOS interviews. We entered a room and the IO was on an iPad video and dialed in via speakerphone.
He told us that he could hear us even when he stepped away to review our paperwork. We made sure to have normal conversation after that time. 
He basically only asked my husband the standard questions about whether or not he’d committed a crime, joined a terrorist group, etc. He did ask him if he was working and the name of the form and then he had to sign the update as part of his application.
I didn’t have to answer any questions as the sponsor.
We’d practiced responses to typical questions about our relationship but didn’t need any of them. We also brought pictures and evidence of a shared life together but we’re not asked for any of it so we just took it home with us.... read complete review

Had a super nice IO. Very friendly. He had already gone through our file so was just asking us questions to make sure they matched. In and out within an hour.
Make sure you add a lot of extra time for traffic. We added 30 minutes and still were a few minutes late.

New building and easy to find, lots of parking outside. My husband and I took our baby with us and it was no problem! We went through security, checked in at the desk and then took the elevator to the 2nd floor where we waited amongst others for about 20-30 minutes for our number to be called. We went in following an older white guy who took us to his office. He was pretty nice. He said that since we had already been approved for K1 that he didnt really have any questions about our marriage and he didnt ask us for any documents really except for the court papers for my husbands crime he commited as a minor and our baby's birth certificate. He basically asked us some questions off of the AOS paperwork .. the yes or no ones and after that it was over. Lasted all of 25 minutes maybe and then he basically said we were approved (without really saying it lol) - - Very easy.

The wife and I had our interview yesterday (09/05/2019) even though there was a pending hurricane in the area. We frequently checked the USCIS page to ensure the offices would not be close and the case transferred. The office is actually located in Durham and not Raleigh as per this dropdown selection box. The drive time from our apartment to the location was approximately 2 hours because of weather concerns, so we departed with plenty of time to ensure on time arrival. As always plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment time. There is a security check point to go through priror to being userd to the second floor for a waiting room. There is also a ticketing checking-in portion after the security check point.
