Parked in one of the metered spots on-street. Waited outside building till 15 mins before appt time, but at security no one asked me what time my appt was so could've gone in anytime. Waiting room was spacious and sparsely occupied for my Friday 10:25am. There was no check-in or anything, and my name was called promptly at the scheduled time. After swearing in, we quickly went through 6 US history questions, then I was asked to read a sentence from the tablet and write another one on it. After that it was just going through the application confirming/updating as needed. Finally the officer printed out a piece of paper with the summary, recommending approval and asking me to wait for notification about the ceremony.

We believe due to the pandemic:
Our interview was waived
Our fingerprinting was waived
as of 10/04/2021 online USCIS status still shows "fingerprints were taken"
We're just waiting for the lifting of the conditions and will file the N-400 in January.

After the swearing in, I had to answer basic questions on the I-485 form, to check if all the information was still correct and make any necessary adjustments. Our address had changed and they added my current employer to the form. We also went over all the eligibility questions again, for which she apologized a couple of times ('I'm sorry I have to ask you this, but it is just procedure - ')
Then she asked my husband a couple of basic questions such as his parents names and his current employer.
This took about 10-15 minutes.
The other half of the interview was kind of chatting about where we met, when we met, when we started dating, when we met each others parents, how often we saw each other, our proposal story and when we got married. This was just to establish a timeline, or so she said. It was actually kind of fun to go... read complete review

Our OP was so nice and helpful. She was smiling all the time. And approved us on spot.
