My husband and I had our interview today at the Baltimore field office at 1115. We checked in and sat in the waiting area. We were called back about 1135. The officer swore us in and then asked for ID. We gave her our DL. She asked why we had different States. I told her because I am military I kept my home of record DL. She said she will ask both of us questions from the 130 and just my husband should answer questions for the 485. Before she started she asked if I wanted to give her anything. Gave her lease, tax returns, bank statements, and utilities. She also asked for the medical (she noticed a box wasn't checked so she had to make sure it wasn't a make or break). She asked to verify information on both forms and updated our address since we moved from Florida to Maryland during the process. She also updated my husband's job information. She asked what we use our joint bank account for. Asked all yes/no questions. In the end, we waited for her to get the go-ahead with the medical... read complete review

We had our adjustment of status interview at the Baltimore field office last week. We went there around 15 minutes earlier than the appointment. After routine security checks, we went and showed our interview notice to an officer at a counter and he gave us a token. We only had to wait around a few minutes before we were called by our IO. He escorted us to his office and put us under oath. Then he started going through our package. He started with basic questions with names and country of birth. All the questions were very much straightforward and we had already gone through our applications on the day before. He asked the names and birthdays of each spouse's parents. We are from the same country and the same hometown. Seems like he was convinced with our evidence of bona fide marriage (joint health insurance, auto insurance, joint lease, some travel itineraries where we visited our home country). We have been living together for around 2.5 years and have been married for around 1.5 ye... read complete review

We had a great experience at the Baltimore local office. The officer who handled our case was very nice and showed interest in Spain and Ian's hometown and easily found topics to talk about to ease our nerves. I were nervous since we are a gay couple and you never know how people can react to it. Overall, the experience was good and comforting.
