After hours of waiting she received 5 questions. They needed a picture from years back and unfortunately we didn't have one at the time because we simply didn't take pictures when we started dating. Who knew we would decide to get married years later when we first began dating?

She received the blue 221g form.

Wasn't able to make it to the interview with my fiance but he ended up being the last person to interview. This was most likely because he showed up at 8:30am, whereas most people got there super early.

When he was called, he was only asked 2 questions:

1. Where have you and your fiance travel to?
- Maldives, Thailand, Malaysia
2. What do you plan to do when you get to the U.S.?
- Marry my fiance

Everyone he met was really nice and all smiles, although he heard a lot of people being yelled at and having 30 min interviews. We had an abundance of evidence since I had flown over 4 times in the last year. Our paperwork was also very organized. Maybe that's what helped.

The interviewer laughed when my fiance answered the second question and he said"very good!" After he had already issued the approval for visa, he asked my fiance how old my daughter was, and he replied that she would be 5 in a couple ... read complete review

When my fiance and I arrived at the consulate at 6:40 for our 7:35 interview, there was already a line with about 50 people.

About 10 minutes before 7am, "greeters" reveiwed passports and appointment letters. Several people didn't even make it beyond this initial review! Seriously!?!? How do you show up that unprepared?!?!

The door opened and everyone was wanded by the guards and an initial bag check was done. It was hot and humid, so I was looking forward to air conditioning. There was none...no a/c for the entire process.

The door led to a covered waiting area. More greeters gave instructions entirely in Vietnamese.

20-25 oeople were led out of this area at a time. Bags went through x-ray and people went through metal detectors.

My fiance went to a desk to do something and I was asked to wait in the waiting area. My fiance and her daughter were finger printed...which took about 30 minutes. It would h... read complete review

My fiance had her interview april 23rd.

She arrived early and lined up around 6:30. People were allowed inside around 6:45.

Unfortunately, she had a b**ch for a vietnamese staff helper. Lady was rude and arrogant. Lady got paperwork. After about two hours later she was called for interview.

She was asked about 10 questions.

How we met?
Talked to my kids?
My children's DOB?
What do I do?
How many times I have visited her?
When we first met?
What I do for a living?
Has she met my family?

And then CO asked to look at pictures and said she was approved. Congratulated her about her new life.

Fiance said most of the vietnamese workers were very rude and arrogant. They spoke like they were yelling and showed no respect for visa applicants.
