I arrived 45 minutes early due to not wanting to be late stopped off got a cup of tea then headed over to the tent at 11am where a few people was in line, I showed the lady my letter she took it inside then said come back in 15 minutes outside as it was a lovely day. After 15 I went in through security the usual airport style just checking for normal stuff no issue at all here. Walked through the doors through to the other building where I walked up to the desk the lady asked me what I was there for and gave her my letter and passport where she stuck stickers on them both. It was 11.17 an andshe said go up in the elevator and as soon as I got to my floor a lady st the desk pointed me in the direction of where the interviews was taking place. It was quite quiet only say 5 people but also a family of six . After about 15 minutes I got called to the first guy he asked me the standard questions why I was there, name of my fiancée , where she work , how we met, tookl my paperwork and ga... read complete review

I am writing this on behalf of my husband who had an interview today. His appointment was at 9:30 am, he was out by 9:45! It was really easy and simple and he was approved pending the medical results. His medical was 6 working days before the interview. At the first window they collected his birth certificate, passport, marriage certificate, police certificate, passport photos. They asked him if he had ever overstayed in the US or lived in another country before, when we got married and where I lived. He sat down and waited about 5 minutes and was called to the next window where the lady asked him when and where we met and when we got married. Then she said he was all done and would get his passport etc back in 1-2 weeks! This was the easiest part of the whole process but definitely the most nerve racking. But nothing to worry about!

I’m writing this on behalf of my fiancé who went through the interview at the Embassy in London. He arrrived around 1030a for an 11a appointment. By 1130a he was FaceTiming me to tell me he was approved! Took about 20/30 mins for the entire interview process from the time they called him up to the window until he was approved.

He had his medical at Knightsbridge on Wednesday, June 27th so we gave them 7 business days, including today, but the embassy hasn’t received the results yet. They informed him he’s approved based on his medical results and said it would take 3 business days for the visa stamp and he should expect to receive his passport back in 1-2 weeks - he lives in Northern Ireland.

My fiancé said the London embassy was very laid back and it was a really good experience. One of the gentleman at the windows was training so they were apologetic and thanked him for waiting even though he wasn’t there for very long a... read complete review

My appointment was booked for 9:30 AM and as I entered the embassy, they gave me ticket #9 out of the 30 K-1 applicants they saw that day. I know they saw 30 applicants because I sat in the waiting room and watched every single one of them walk in, give their interviews and leave. I was made to sit there right up until the end.

I went upstairs after the security check and was directed to the waiting area for K-1 interviews. Within 15 minutes my number was called, I went to the window and the officer was friendly, asked me general questions about how my fiancee and I met, how many times I'd been to the US etc. He took all of the documents I was required to bring to the interview and told me to sit back down until my number is called again.

I sat down, one hour passed, two hours passed, three hours passed. I saw other applicants come in, get called up and finish the entire process within 20 minutes and leave. I saw all of the ticket numbers get called after ... read complete review
