Was greaT, really easy. My spouse was able to accompany me in with no hassle.
I had had an issue with my medical (high BP) that needed a letter from my GP to sort out. So I received a conditional refusal at first (I know it sounds terrible, but really just means once you give them what they're waiting for your gold), untill that was sorted.

They kept my passport. and I got my packet shortly after. javascript:emoticon('')

Very easy straightforward process. Was in and out of the embassy in less than an hour.

Had documents checked then waited for interview. Interview consisted of a few simple questions - how did I meet my husband, where does he live (town and type of house/apartment), and his job. I was asked if I had had my medical yet, which I hadn't - I was 34 weeks pregnant at the time of interview and made it clear that I wasn't going to have the medical until after the baby was born (because of the risks associated with the chest x-ray). The person interviewing was very understanding about this and it was not an issue that my medical was going to be 8-10 weeks after the interview (and still wasn't set in stone as I wasn't sure when the baby would arrive!).

I was told that my visa was approved pending the medical and that was it!

Interview was 14th August.
Medical was 17th October

Confirmation that the Vis... read complete review

Took about 30 minutes to get inside embassy. Spent in total about 2 hours at the embassy. The two lines to get inside took the longest. First window going over paperwork- they only wanted the affidavit of support and employer letter no IRS pr pay stubs but we had it all in case. Fiance attended with me. When we were called to the actual interview we both swore the oath and fiance (us citizen) was asked 2 questions about where she lives and I was asked one question about how we met. Visa approved in a few minutes and we were out the door.

My husband just had his interview on the 13th, so I wanted to write about it before I forgot. I had traveled to London for moral support, and honestly the interview was the easiest part of the whole thing, as a lot of people have been saying.
Our interview was scheduled for 11:30, so we arrived to the Embassy and went to the coffee shop behind the Waitrose for a bit - then around 10:40 we went over to check in - I thought I would have to go back to the coffee shop but the lady sitting outside said I could go in with my husband, so she just asked for my ID as well. We went in and it was basically empty - we went right through metal detectors and then they checked us in at another desk and gave us the interview number. We went up to the next level to the immigrant visa section and there were only two other people in there. Got called right up to the window where a lovely gentleman from Missouri did his best to make us comfortable - I was standing there for everything. He aske... read complete review
