Had a really great experience at the new embassy building! Fast, easy process and the people working there were surprisingly nice. Asked my fiance for his packet along with a couple questions and were able to approve our visa same day.

My husband went for his interview this morning. So I will give you a brief account of his experience.
He arrived a little before his interview time of 9:30 AM. He went to through security as everyone has described in other reviews. He then went to the first desk and checked in. They sent him up to the interview area. The first person he encountered asked for his paperwork, passport etc. Then he was told to sit down until he was called to the next window. He waited about 10 minutes and was called up. He was fingerprinted and given the oath to tell the truth. He was asked a couple of minor questions about our relationship and when had he last seen is son who just turned 2 years old. Then the officer smiled and said "you are approved and should receive your passport and visa in 7 to 10 days." My husband was dumb struck. My mother and I loaded him up with a ton of back-up paperwork to take with him in case they requested something. I think he was mad that they didn't ask ... read complete review

Interview: Friday 22nd March 11:30
First Window:
The guy here had my petition in front of him. Took fingerprints here and gave me my x-ray CD from the medical.
Documents needed here:
Passport - kept
DS-160 - returned
Birth Certificate - kept
Police Certificate - kept
I-134f with W2 and bank statement - kept (only one form of support needed from fiancé's mum)
Passport photo - scanned them and returned
Questions asked:
When do you intend on travelling to the US? I told him May hopefully. He said the visa will be valid until August based on 6 months from my medical date.
Have you ever had any other US Visas? No
Have you ever overstayed on the visa waiver program? No
Have either of you ever been married before? No
Why is the support his mum? Because he's a student so couldn't cover the full amount needed. Told him about my savings and he didn't want to see.
Do... read complete review

The embassy staff were extremely friendly! I get quite nervous in these types of situations, however the staff made me feel relaxed! It was as if I was having a conversation with a friend!
My appointment was at 09:30, I arrived at around 9am. I caught the train into London and then got a tube to Vauxhall, all of this was simple, no confusion thanks to the instructions on the embassy website.
I got to the front desk and then was asked for my DS160 and passport. I was given a ticket and sent up to the first floor for my interview. From there, I was told to go to a counter. I was met by a friendly man who asked for my documents in order. He then said please wait to be called again.
I was then requested to the window again, this time it was a different man. He was friendly and asked if i could tell him how I met my fiancée. I then went into the details. He didn’t ask any information about my fiancées work etc. He just said, â€Å... read complete review
