My experience for K-1 interview at the U.S Embassy in London:
I was really nervous but didn't need to be so hopefully this helps anyone who is nervous like me!
I got to the embassy early and waited outside as they don't let you in until 15 minutes before your interview time. I then went to the line and was asked for my ds-160 and passport. Then I was directed through airport style security. I had a bottle of water on me which they made me drink (assuming this was to check that it was just water).

As I got into the building my name was called out and I went to the front of the line and was told to go upstairs to the first floor and take two lefts. No issues at all at the embassy nice and easy all staff very polite and the process was nice and easy.
The only thing I would point out is when going up in the lift was told to go to the left when i got up to the 1st floor for K1 but when I got there I was told to go right with everyone else, I said are you sure as thats not what I was just told and sure enough it was the left so just make sure you listen to any instructions and anything your unsure of always ask

Arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled time, and was told to line up to pass through the security line after they checked my documents (maybe 20 people in line in front of me). I was able to skip the massive line for non-immigrant visas and straight up the elevator, and then waited about 20 mins in front of the window before being called.
I was asked for the documents listed on the embassy website (no evidence of ongoing relationship requested), and my fingerprints were taken for both hands. I was then asked to sit and wait to be called by the officer, and waited for 20-30 mins. I was then called up to the window and asked to swear the information provided was correct. I was then asked about how we met, whether I had proposed, whether we had set a date for the wedding and whether I had booked my flights for the US. I gave them brief details on the questions and was asked for my fingerprints again.
My documents were returned to me and I was told I would b... read complete review

Fairly easy. Bring your W-2 even if it says it is not required because they will ask for it.
