My appointment was scheduled for July 13th (lucky 13) at 9:00am. At 7:45 I checked my phone in at Gould's Pharmacy for £3.00 and got 2 passport photos done for £5.00 as the ones I had were over 6 months old. I then walked over to the Embassy and got in line at 7:50. I showed my interview letter to the person out front and then walked over to a security hut where I placed all my pocket items like my wallet, keys, change, fags, lighter and watch into a plastic baggie to go through the x-ray machine. Also I removed my belt. Best to do all this ahead of time as there were two people in front of me fumbling with their things and cause I had my stuff ready they let me pass through first
I then entered the embassy where a woman sat at a desk took my interview letter and my MRV receipt off me to look at and then she put a sticker with my number on it. My number was i911 and I noticed the 911 part right away O.o)) I then went up some stairs, through a huge ... read complete review

My interview was on monday July 11th at 9am. I have a friend who doesn't live far from London so I stayed at his house for the weekend.
I got into London at about 7am and had a mooch around for a while. By 8:30 I'd stored my phone and mp3 player at Gould's pharmacy and was in the embassy queue. I got into the embassy at about 9am. Looking back, it might have been better to get in the queue earlier than I did.
Once I was inside. I sat down and looked at the screens. Every few seconds people wanting non-immigrant visas were being called up, and about every 5-10 minutes they called up someone wanting an immigrant visa. I knew I was going to be there for a while.
After about 2 hours they called me up. The woman at the window took my fingerprints and asked me for my documents. She took my passport, I-134, birth certificate, police record, MRV fee receipt and 2 photos. I asked her if she said 2 or 3 and she confirmed she just wanted 2 of them. The... read complete review

My appointment was for 8am. I arrived the Embassy for 6.45am and I am very glad I did! I was 6th in line and by the time the Embassy started processing people to enter (approx 7.35am) there were about 80 people in the queue. I handed my interview letter over to the first Embassy employee, she checked it against her list and sent me to a lady standing outside the little X-ray security hut. She checked my passport & interview letter before sending me into the security hut. They took my bag and folder, scanned it and sent me onwards - "Follow the arrows!" I was told. I went around the building and entered through a side door, went to reception, handed over my interview letter again and it had a big sticker slapped on it with a number (I-901). I was told to go sit in the waiting room up the stairs and wait for my number to be called.
Everyone else had N-# and it got to N6 before my I-901 was called. They seem to have a certain window dedicated to non-N numbers, but expect ab... read complete review
