Matt's interview was today in London. He was scheduled for 8:30. He didn't sleep the night before and I didn't sleep all night knowing he was in route and going through it all on his own. We both have tried really hard to stay positive, however one thing I NEVER mentioned was the facet that he is in the process of dealing with a minor run in with the police that happened in the US last September. We have been so nervous and done all the research, as well as work as diligently as possible to satisfy the issue. Our fear has been that there isn't really any research you can do to tell you what we would be up against in the interview process..... We did decide however that the truth would be our best bet and that having ALL supporting evidence would at least show those truths.
After a two hour wait he was finally called to the 1st window where she took all his documents. Then sent back to sit again and he heard his number called, but it never appeared on the screen so luckil... read complete review

Our interview was on monday so saturday night we were looking over all of our paperwork and noticed that the birth certificate needed to have his parents names on it and the one that we have did not. We were not even aware of a different one. We hired a lawyer and he never said anything of this as well (along with being utterly useless anyway. I wish I had found this site ahead of time). Also, we were curious why it was not flagged at USCIS. Nonetheless, we went ahead to the interview to see what they said.
We arrived a little bit before 8 after dropping off the cell phones at Gould's pharmacy. We only waited a little bit outside and then proceeded through security. About 1.5 hours later our number I-912 was called up. The gentlemen took our required documents (including the birth certificate) and said nothing about it. He then asked about his medical and if he had it. We replied he had it almost a month ago. The gentleman then asked us to sit down so he could go look f... read complete review

As per my Fiance...
He arrived at approximately 7:45am, and was turned away immediately for having the digital picture key-chain I got him. After a trek to Goulds, and 3 pounds later, he was back in line at around 8:25.
Handed over his MRV Receipt and Interview letter, went through security, got his number, took a seat. That adorable little key-chain must have cost him because he had to wait over 2 hours before he was seen (number 914). When he finally was seen, they took his finger prints (left 4 fingers, right 4 fingers, both thumbs), his birth certificate, copy of his birth certificate, police records, passport photos, passport, I-134 and financial evidence. Afterwards he sat back down and began filling out the courier sheet that was given to him after his documents were taken.
At this point, SOMEBODY had to use the toilet...went to the toilet...and...his number was called. Oops
After completely missin... read complete review

To summarise: In and out in three hours. Everyone very pleasant. Bring an umbrella/sunscreen, because you'll be waiting outside for quite a while!
My K1 interview took place on Thursday 7th July. I stayed the night beforehand with my cousin who lives in Vauxhall, so I left his house at 7.45 and took the tube to Green Park and walked from there to the embassy. The first of the tears (of relief!) started when I caught the first glimpse of the building, of the armed guards, and of the thirty or so people in the queue. I couldn't believe after years of long distance, and so many months of the application process, we were nearly there!
I dropped off my camera and phone at Goulds and got four photos to take with me to the interview. I had thought about just getting them taken at the embassy, but as it turned out, the booth was out of action when I arrived, and technicians came to fix it an hour or so after I arrived. Tip: save yourself the worry and get them sor... read complete review
