Well here is my long awaited interview review.
I woke up at 5.30 after a terrible nights sleep worrying  ..... Luckily i only live a 20 minute bus ride from the Embassy. Got off at Selfridges and down North Audley Street to find Goulds Pharmacy.
Goulds Pharmacy
I arrived there approx 8.20. It was a busy little Pharmacy. Cost me £3.00 to keep my electronics. They had a list of things that you cant take in with you. I then asked about getting my Photo taken the man told me to go to the back. It was all done very professionally and a bunch of nice guys. In all i was in there about 10 mins. Cost me £5.00 for 2 American sized photos. So £8.00 in all. The Embassy is about a minute or 2 from there.

My appointment was for 8:30am, I turned up at 7:50am and had to queue for 50 minutes, however being ten minutes late wasn't important. Some people in the queue were 30 minutes late due to not expecting a queue and it was no problem. They allocate you a ticket once you get inside so there is nobody waiting on you as such. Entering the embassy was a high security process. Do not take large bags, people were turned away. Do not take any electronic devices, people were turned away.
I waited an hour to be called up for stage one. You are called to a specific window, there are 24 windows at the embassy. The woman was very friendly and British. I was asked first for my affidavit, and then my police certificate and finally my birth certificate. She asked if I wanted these documents back and I affirmed, so she asked for copies, which I then provided. I'm the US fiance but Kris did post a review of his interview. He is under mad_scottish. We are so excited!!!! He basically said just bring everything they ask for and more and be organized. They praised him for that!

Hey folks,
Given some of the reviews that have been written and had helped to relax me about the whole process I wanted to write my own so that hopefully others can find the same strength to get through what is a very stressful process at times.
My interview was at 9am and I got there at 0745 because I was up and about and was so antsy that I just needed to get there and get on with it. This turned out to be a very good decision as I got in and ended up being called up around 9am anyway!!
You queue outside and are split into US citizen services and non US citizen services. You are called forward and you show your interview date confirmation letter and then you join a smaller queue as you wait to get through security. At this stage you are simply just stood outside the embassy on the pavement.

Arrived at embassy at 0730 for my CR-1 interview and the queue was about 20-30 deep already but the line began to move relatively quickly. Following security and on entering the main building i received a ticket (4th in queue for immigrant visas) and began to wait. The ticket machine subsequently malfunctioned some time after my arrival so there was some kerfuffle with people waiting after me but it was quickly and efficiently dealt with from what i could gather. I had my ticket anyway so wasn't too concerned
After about 30-45 mins of waiting i was called to the first window and began answering some simple questions. Got chatting to the lady behind the window and had a nice conversation with her even though her demeanour was somewhat combative. She noted that my medical did not appear to be in the file and i told her i had had it done the week before.
