My interview was at 9am this morning. I got there at 8am, and went straight through. I got number 1-905, so only 4 other I's ahead of me. The experience was pretty much what has been described before. You wait for a long time for the argos system to call your name and you go to the first window.

The lady at the window asked me who I was meeting at the other end, I gave my fiance's name, then she asked for my MRV receipt and interview letter. Then I gave her 3 photos, my police and birth certificates.

Then she asked for my affidavit of support. Now, my fiance filled out the I-134 form using the example on here. The lady then told me it was wrong and I should read forms more thoroughly! What? I told her that I only needed to prove that he has the means to support me, and I had all the evidence for that, he didn't have to go into specifics of how he was to support me on that form. She was insistent that it was wrong, and that my case may be held back and it "was up to the immigration officer's discretion" whether I would be approved today or not. Well hearing that, I started freaking out in my head. I had trouble keeping my fingers still I was shaking so much. She told me I had no reason to be nervous... yeah too late for that lady! She then gave me the chest x-ray disc and sent me back to the waiting area.

So I spent the next 40 minutes freaking out in the waiting area by myself until my number was called again. I went round to window 16 and was met by a friendly blonde American lady. She took my finger prints again, showed me my file so I could identify it as mine, then I wrote my fiance's name and signed one of the forms. I had to swear I was telling the truth, then she asked me a couple of questions:

How did you meet your fiance?
What were you wearing (we met at a halloween party
  ) How he proposed
What our wedding plans were and why we were going to Chicago to do it.

She glanced at all my papers then approved me! Not even a mention of this supposedly incorrect I-134! So first lady was talking BS and frightened me for no reason. I was so relieved, I thanked her a million times and went to pay the courier- all in all, in and out in just under 2 hours. Now just waiting for the visa to come in the post and I can go home to my boy!
