Appointment was for 0830 but got at embassy at 0730 but once your inside you'are given the next avaliable number and you will wait for it to be called. At the first window the lady was very nice and we even laugh with her when we gave her the wrong photo. Here she took his passport photo, and gave Scott his X-Ray to take back to state and he got his fingerprint done. She then ask when he plan to travel to the state and we said 31 Jan 14. So she said that she will try to make that happen. At the second window we had a American man and he ask Scott 4 questions and why he was deny enter at time he came to visit me in the state. We just told me we didn't know that he could not visit on a ESTA and also because I was a USC he needed a visitor visa. After that he type into the computer he then told us that the immigration was approved. The whole processes took three hours.

My appointment was at 8:30 but I arrived at 7:30 so I could be in before then.
I had taken my mom with me so I didn’t have to use the pharmacy to leave stuff and as going to the US will mean that I miss her 60th I thought I would treat her to a couple of days in London afterwards as an early birthday present.
Well where to start, getting in was easy. Some people hadn't read their interview letter which clearly says that you can't take in phones, some tried to argue with the poor woman telling them by saying 'I will just put it away in my bag'javascript:emoticon(' ')
Once in the people at the desk were really nice and the boards, once turned on were easy to see from anywhere in the room. However they did take a long time to get them working after they said they would and in the meantime the tannoy would cut out whenever the new number should have been displayed on the screen so that only half the message was heard. javas... read complete review

My interview at the London embassy went very smoothly! Was quite a wait in line, and then inside, but the interview was a breeze. Was first interviewed by a friendly man who took most of my details and forms and asked a few general questions. I then went to sit back down (or stand up - seats were filled up!) until I was called again. This time, I was interviewed by a lovely woman who was actually training another woman during my interview (this made me feel more at ease, as it was more casual!).
She asked me just a few questions of where and how we met, how we kept in touch etc. and then smiled and told me that was it, I was approved! Whooopeee. Easy peasy!

I got to the embassy about an hour before my interview time. I queued up and showed my appointment letter and passport to a nice english lady who ticked my name off a list she had. I then went through security (pretty much just like at an airport) and then around the building and up some stairs. At the reception I showed my DS-160 and passport and was given a number starting with 'I' (for immigrant visa).
Then I waited in a big waiting room with lots of blue fold out chairs. There was a big screen at the front of the room telling which numbers should go where so I watched that the whole time as I didnt want to miss my number!I waited about and hour and a half until I was called up. A nice American woman asked for all my documents and photocopies of documents I wanted returned. She also got me to write my name on the back of the two passport photos as I'd forgotten to do that. She took my finger prints as well. Then she handed me my chest x ray and told me I had to enter the USA ... read complete review
