My experience was pretty much the same as those who've posted previously - I would advise the following:

1) Get there early. I was in and out in 70 minutes, so it pays to arrive as early as possible - I was in at 7:47 and out just before 9!

2) Know where your documents are: Have them ordered and ready, be prepared! And take copies. You will then get the originals back.

3) Don't panic! It was a breeze. If you have everything in order, you'll be through quickly. I ws I902, and I think the lady everyone mentions on here was who I got - she is genuinely friendly, very chatty and relaxed. She even pretended to hesitate, I think she does it to break the tension because she seems to love making people happy :-)

And 4) You now apparently CAN take in your cellphone. I suppose I should get used to calling it that. But they specifically mentioned it in the line today, and there were signs all around saying to switch them off at the windows and don't take pictures. Goulds is excellent, and reasonably priced, but if it saves you time, and money, take your phone. But if someone else could confirm this is correct, that'd be great!!!

Try and relax. It was horribly stressful, obviously, but the event itself was really, really straightforward. I was asked just the following:

How did I meet Jill?
When did we meet in person? (She asked me which side of Kansas City I went to, I think that was possibly designed to catch someone out who hadn't been there!)
Had I met her family?
When did we first start discussing marriage?
When did I plan to fly?
And she simply confirmed for the i134 that my fiancee was still working at the job I'd provided evidence for.

Oh! One last piece of advice - if you're close to the expiry date, like we were, and you have a co-sponsor, take a new letter of intent. I almost had a heart attack when I was told this, but the i134 is plenty of proof of intent!! So this wasn't an issue for me, but it might be for others.

Good luck!! :-)
