Interview was this morning (19th May) and approved! I wanted to write a review, but for some reason it won't let me - so i will post it here, and hopefully an administrator can let me know how to add it to my profile!

Arrived at the Embassy at 6.45, beautiful day outside, and there were about 10 people in the queue before me. If you have an 8am appointment, it really is worth getting there earlier as the earlier ticket number you have the quicker it will be to leave!

So, you queue up in two lines, Americans and Non-Americans. Have your Interview Letter and DS-160 ready along with your passport. they will come down the line with plastic bags for your things in your pockets, and your belt (if you are wearing one). I didn't have much in my pockets, and if possible travel as light as possible so you are not trying to put everything in this plastic bag whilst trying to hold your passport and DS160 / Interview Letter in the other.

Once you ge... read complete review

I had my interview on May 2nd. The reviews on VJ were very helpful to know what to expect. The staff outside was very polite though pretty strict on what documents to present in what order etc (they are in "chop chop" mode).
My interview was at 8am but I arrived a bit before 7am and I was actually the first immigrant visa after going through security (most of the people come for non-immigrant visas, typically students and businessmen).
I was first called by an Asian lady who was really difficult to understand across the glass wall. I had to ask her to repeat several times as I did not want to miss a question. She took all my documents (passport, police certificate, birth certificate, photos).
I was called 20 mns afterwards for the interview. The officer was a very nice lady but she seemed a bit lost in the K1 process. She asked for the DS-230 that we do not fill anymore. She got my paperfile in front of her and flicked through it while asking the usual questions (w... read complete review

My appointment was scheduled for 8am, but I arrived at 7am. There was already a huge line, and we all had to queue in the rain with no cover (bring umbrella!), the security men were really nasty didn't allow anyone to take cover near their security buildings from the rain. I had to take out all my documents in the rain, so they got wet (remember, umbrella is good). When we were allowed to go through security, everything is very obvious as to where to go next (don't worry about navigation).

Once I was in the waiting area I waited about half an hour until I had my first part of the interview. She was a hard to understand Asian lady. She took the following:
-Birth Certificate
-Police Certificate
-i-134 support form (We brought tons of evidence because we were using mainly assets, they accepted NOTHING, she only wanted employee letter [we didn't have it, so she took the form by itself] a bit scary, we thought this would be a denial for sure)
-Pas... read complete review

Here is my review of my recent interview for CR-1 DCF at London.
I attended my interview on the 12 May 2014 my interview was scheduled for 08:00 AM. We stayed the night before in London at MyHotel Bloomsbury (10 mins away from the Embassy by Taxi) so it was a relaxed start to what could be a stressful day.
We arrived outside the embassy at 07:20 AM and already there were 20+ people standing in line waiting, I wasn’t too worried as great advice on here stated that not everyone queuing (or waiting in line – practicing my American) was for an immigrant Visa. Some are visitor or other types of visa.
There was some issue with partners gaining entry and those couples waiting to go through security to enter the Embassy were pulled to one side whilst their identification was checked and they were added to the list. I followed great advice from here and added my husband to the list by email a week before and even received a confirmation that he was on the list. Turns o... read complete review
