I had my K1 Visa interview at this consulate.
My interview was at 1pm. I arrived at the Embassy at 12.10, and there were a group of about 5 people there too. Most had interviews to attend for various Visas. There is a little tent with a table outside the front gates, people lined up to that (In the rain!)
At 12.30 two people came out from the embassy and sat at the table taking peoples interview letter and passport. I was 4th or 5th in the queue. You were given a number on your interview letter.
I went through processing, taking off all metal objects and belt, pretty much like the security check points at US airports. None of my phone, or personal belongings were taken from me.
I took the signs to immigrant visas, and went and sat down in a large room with many seats. On the screens numbers began to pop up, and the people corresponding to those numbers went to a booth.
I was called up about 10 minutes after ente... read complete review

My interview date was the 17th of June. I stayed in a boutique hotel near Victoria station and did some sightseeing the day before.
On the interview day, I left the hotel at 11am thinking I had plenty of time to get to the embassy. I got off at the Bond Street station and had a quick lunch in the foodhall at Selfridges. I looked up in google maps where the embassy was and sure enough it took me only like less than 10mins walk to get to the embassy. There was a couple of people waiting in queue and we had a small chitchat on thoughts regarding the process of application and the delays caused by the system hacking. There were more people arriving at this time.
I was third at the queue and about 1230 the staff started to check out documents-interview letter, ds-160,passport and then when she found out I was a k-1 applicant, she asked me if I had brought pictures. I read on the forums that this particular embassy rarely asks for pics as proof to be bro... read complete review

My interview experience June 17th 2015
My interview was scheduled for 8am and although we had heard from here that couples had been told to come back at 1pm for immigration visa interviews we hadn't received any confirmation of a time change. I even called up twice to check the time was still 8am and it was.
I stayed in London the night before as I travelled down from Nottingham and arrived at the Embassy at 6.45am....super early I know but I couldn't sleep anyway and I wanted to be there in plenty of time.
I was the first person in line and the lady at the desk asked me to come forward at 7.30am. As I feared I was told that all Immigration interview had been changed to 1pm. I did tell her that I called and checked but apparently this was not correct. She was very nice and asked that myself and another lady that was in the same situation as myself stand to one side so they could call at 8am to check it was definitely 1pm.... read complete review

I arrived for my 8AM appointment early and waited in line for a about an hour. Have to go into one line to confirm arrival and I was given a number and then another to go into the consulate. When I got in I went to sit down and wait for my number to be called. After 30 minutes I was called for a few preliminary questions with a very nice gentleman. Then I was told to sit again. I waited for about 2 hours this time I think, maybe less, and they skipped my number, which I was assured that this can be common. When finally called I was seeing a different gentleman this time. He asked me questions about me and my fiance, like what we did for a living, how long we'd known each other, when we were getting married ect. After about 5 or 10 minute he told me he'd approved my application and I was all done!

I had my interview 5th of June, My appointment was scheduled at 1pm. I got to the embassy really early, around 11am and was told that I was to early and to return back at 12:30. I didn't leave far from the embassy and went to get something to eat at the Starbucks near by.
I returned back around 12:15, again I'll recommend to all of you to get there as early as you can as it is first comes first serve. Queue started around 12:20 and I was third in the queue.
The lady checked appointment letter,DS160 and passport before entering security, I passed security just like the airport. You'll then receive a ticket stuck to your appointment letter it, it generally starts with I as it is an immigrant.
As I was third in the queue everything went really fast, I didn't wait more than 4 min before I get called up to the first window where the british man checks your documents (Birth certificate, passport, ds160, affidavit, fingerprints etc). I then took a ... read complete review
