I went alone for the interview. the consulate officer hardly gave me visa as 2 convictions of Robert. when I heard the word of "Pending", then i started to fight I couldn't remember all I said but the point is that I strongly insisted that we, I and Robert, have done all process by ourselves and I have known all about his convictions, also I accepted him anyway.

0745 - arrive at Embassy (for a 0730 appointment)
0730 - inside

*** 10 people appointed for K-1 visa interview at 7:30 am??? HOW STUPID IS THIS? ***

0845 - submitted documentation at window 5

1100 - called for interview at window 6
- Four questions; one asked 2x
1. How did you meet your Fiance?
2. When was the last time you saw your Fiance?
3. When is the fist time you met your Fiance?
4. When will you travel to the USA?
[asked again even though answered and understood the first time]

1120 - interview completed.

Note that no one spoke Thai in the entire process, everything was in english.
The man doing the interview was very serious.

This embassy gets a low rating simply because there is no need to require someone to arrive at a time and then wait 3-1/2 hours to actually have the interview. All of these ... read complete review

Interview appointment on Nov 30 at 7.30am. I was asked...
1. What's my fiance's name?
2. How did I meet him? (and some other questions about my J-1 visa)
3. How long did I stay in America in 2004?
4. Has my fiance ever been to Thailand?

15 minutes later, my name was called and the Officer gave me an appointment card for picking up the visa on Dec 1 at 3pm

I had heard that once the interview has taken place, it's only a 2-3 day wait for the visa. But don't worry if it takes longer! Mayuree had to wait 10 days! There was a little stress there, but I was confident, since 1) they kept her passport, and 2) there was really no reason to refuse the visa.
I sent an email to the Visa Services and they said that the visa was ready for pickup. So I told Mayuree to go pick it up. She went to the Embassy -- but was turned away. They said she had to wait to be called.
They called the next day, and she went and picked it up.
