My experience was great, there was not much question I had been asked. I also got my visa in the same day. (my interview was in the morning, my visa issued in the afternoon)

We were put under administrative processing , though the CO was polite and assured us that it was a mear technicality and that we would have our visa in a week. All our paper work and proof was perfect. It is simply the fact that she is a Russian national filing from Thailand. I truly hope so I will keep you all informed as the process is still under way.

POE was San Francisco. Took all of about 30 minutes to clear immigration and customs. Very easy.

I meant to say the visa was ready on a wednesday, not thursday -- that's their standard procedure for bringing in documents after the interview -- you usually bring them in on a non-holiday Monday, and the visa is ready by that Wednesday.

He gave a lengthy explanation in Thai about how we met at his home, since he built a skatepark there and I wanted to go skateboarding, and then the translator just replied "Skateboarding." "Skateboarding?" the consular asked., and then said, "Okay." Then she asked us how soon we could get my fiance's police clearance later.
